For Valentine’s day we have a very special edition of Thursday Treats for you guys! Check out this great, simple, delicious and EASY recipe for “Strawberry Mousse”! Perfect for today’s occasion!

Simply Strawberry Mousse

-The tools and ingredients you will need
-Sugar 65g
-Gelatine 5g
-Strawberry pulp 160g
-Cream 35% 175ml

-Rubber spatula
-Whisk
-Double boiler
-Hand or stand mixer
-Large bowl

-Whip cold 35% cream until soft peaks and then place in fridge to chill
-Warm up 1/3 of the purée with all sugar on a double boiler until sugar is dissolved (40ºC)
-Take puree mix off heat, add gelatine and mixed till dissolved
-Add the remaning 2/3 of purée
-Stir till mixture is completely cooled
-Fold whip cream 1/3 at a time into purée
-Put mousse mixture into piping bag and pipe immediately
-Place in fridge to set, 30minutes
-Garnish your dessert as desired
