It was a real thrill for Kelly to be able to chat with The Chainsmokers again. She had interviewed them back in 2014 following the success of their hit song “Selfie,” and it wasn’t long before their music career took off. With having so much success and arguably being the biggest pop band on the planet these days, it wasn’t certain they’d continue to do interviews because really, they don’t have to. So it was a great surprise to find out that Alex and Drew would still make some time for radio interviews and Kelly was one of the lucky few to spend time with them during their tour stop in Montreal. Hear their thoughts about life on the road, the importance of staying in shape and who they’d like to collaborate with in the future.
Singer-songwriter LP has written songs for the likes of the Backstreet Boys, Cher, Rihanna and Christina Aguilera and has now reignited her own recording career with the success of her album “Lost On You.” Kelly and LP chat about many things including her writing process, her love of the ukulele and yoga and even the idea of LP taking up “goat yoga.” This is quite the wide-ranging chat, enjoy!
