Kelly and Sharon kick off the show with a story from Kelly’s childhood about why her Grade 3 teacher should probably not have used her first name in a rhyming exercise! The 90’s Playlist Picks of the Week follow as Kelly celebrates the 29th anniversary of Janet Jackson‘s “The Velvet Rope” with “I Get Lonely” while Sharon chooses Whitney Houston and the Thunderpuss remix of “It’s Not Right But It’s OK.”

The next generation of “A Different World” is doing amazingly well on Netflix and Season 2 is on the way with rumors that Lisa Bonet could make an appearance. Sharon also pays tribute to Canadian rocker Sass Jordan, looking back at her incredible career and her connection to the Foo Fighters through Taylor Hawkins.

Then it’s time for Keri Russell and “The Diplomat” as Season 4 approaches. Kelly and Sharon discuss the fun connection between “The Diplomat” and “The West Wing” through Allison Janney and Bradley Whitford. Plus, Kelly reveals how “The Golden Girls” are alive and well in the form of a very unexpected furry friend!
